1970 Series Power Line Filters

1960 Series High Performance Line FiltersPower line filters are designed to protect and facilitate secure communications for shielded rooms and buildings.

Individual filters are installed in a weld steel cabinet protected by electro-tin plating to withstand corrosion and extreme environmental (temperature, moisture and so on) conditions.

General Specifications

  • LCR Power Line Filters comply with all the applicable requirements of MIL-F-15733 latest revision.
  • Filter cabinets are supplied with two separate covers to access input and output terminals. The filtered compartment is supplied with an EMI (RF) non-corrosive, environmental gasket to prevent RF Leakage and accommodate maximum isolation between input and output compartments.
  • Bleeder resistors are built into each filter line to discharge the capacitor voltage to ground potential during power shutdown.
  • The filters insertion loss is 100dB from 14kHz to 1 GHz measured per MIL-STD220A under full load conditions.
  • Each filter's leakage current (line to ground current) is limited to less than 20% of the line current when measured at line voltage and frequency.
  • The voltage drop of each line is limited to 1% of the rated line current and frequency.
  • Filters can also be supplied with the option of EMP, HEMP, HERF and various levels of transient voltage protection.
  • Filter cabinets are available with optional floor mounting feet and can be tailored to suit the particular application.

1970 Series Shielded Facility Filters

Insertion Loss 100dB from 14kHz through 1 GHz Measured in Accordance with MIL-STD-220A at Full Load using Extended Range Buffer Networks.

Filters are rated at 277 volts AC (600 volts DC) Line to ground at 50/60 HZ. Filters for 400HZ operation and higher current ratings are available upon request.

All filters are manufactured in accordance with UL 1283.
