LCR Electronics, Inc. is pleased to offer a new FH Series HEMP Power Line Filter

Norristown, PA. April 2013 – LCR Electronics Inc., a leading manufacturer of EMI filters, electronic control products, and backplanes and ruggedized integrated chassis for commercial, industrial, foodservice, telecommunication and military applications, is pleased to announce their FH Series HEMP Power Line Filters, designed to meet or exceed the requirements of MIL-STD-220 with 100dB attenuation from 14kHz to 1GHz.

Designed to meet the point-of-entry requirements of MIL-STD-188-125-1 & MIL-STD-188-125-2 for short and intermediate pulses, LCR’s FH1960 HEMP filters also meet high insertion loss performance for SCIF, TEMPEST and other applications.

LCR’s latest filters are capable of carrying full rated current without exceeding a 25 degree rise above ambient temperature and can be operated continuously at their rated currents and voltages while withstanding a 40% current overload for 15 minutes without degradation.

These HEMP filters comply with all applicable requirements of MIL-F-15733 latest revision and UL1283, and are fitted with high transient suppressors in front of the inductive input circuit which results in low residual currents during an EMP pulse and protects the connected equipment.

In addition, these Filter cabinets are supplied with two separate removable covers to access input and output terminals. The filtered compartment is supplied with an EMI (RF) non- corrosive, environmental gasket to prevent RF Leakage and accommodate maximum isolation between input and output compartments. For further safety, bleeder resistors are built into each filter line to discharge the capacitor voltage to ground potential during a power shutdown.
