Industrial EMI Filters (Single Phase and Three Phase)
LCR's Single Phase Industrial EMI filters (RFI filters, EMC filters) attenuate electrical noise generated from industrial, telecommunication, commercial, military and medical electrical and electronic equipment. These EMI filters attenuate mains-borne electromagnetic interference from 100 kHz upwards to very high frequencies.
LCR’s EMI filters (RFI filters, EMC filters) are used to bring electrical and electronic products into compliance with National (FCC) and International EMC standards like CE, VDE and more. These EMI filters also protect the sensitive electronic circuits in the equipment from extraneous surges, spikes, ESD, and interference in the environment. These EMI filters are available standard off the shelf from 1Amp to 40Amp. However, these designs can be easily modified to meet customer’s specific high current needs up to 2000 Amp. Typical applications for these filters are in switching power supplies, motor controllers, PWM circuits, Industrial Cooking and Baking equipment, Industrial Microwave Ovens, Induction heaters and other similar equipment.
LCR's Three Phase Industrial EMI filters (RFI filters, EMC filters) are typically used in Power Electronic products. These EMI filters attenuate mains-borne EMI generated back into the power line. These EMI filters also protect sensitive electronics and make them less susceptible to surges, Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) and other harmful voltage and current surges. Typical applications of these EMI filters are in three-phase industrial drives, controllers, frequency converters and industrial machine tools.
Other applications include industrial power supplies, UPS's, fixed computer systems (mainframes), MRIs and X-Ray equipment, Heavy duty industrial equipment and more. LCR's three Phase industrial EMI filters(RFI filters, EMC filters) are available standard off the shelf from 5 Amp through 125 Amps. However, these designs can be easily modified to meet customer’s specific high current needs up to 2000 Amp. These filters follow design guidelines of UL, CSA and VDE (CE) standards. These EMI filters (RFI filters, EMC filters) are currently undergoing the UL, VDE and cUL approval process.
